Technical German into Danish
A technical sentence has to describe the right component, action or condition. Natural Danish alone cannot tell you whether a part rotates, a switch disconnects a load, or an instruction changes the order of an operation.
I translate, revise and post-edit German technical documentation into Danish, including industrial manuals, equipment descriptions and operating instructions.
What I check
- Component names, functions and terminology in the relevant technical context.
- Instructions, conditions and the sequence of actions.
- Safety wording, warnings, negation and cause-and-effect relationships.
- Numbers, units, dimensions, identifiers and cross-references.
- Consistency across manuals, tables and repeated source segments.
References matter
A termbase, diagram or earlier approved manual may answer a question that the sentence cannot. I use the supplied references and flag missing or conflicting information when it affects the translation.
Changes are made for a reason: a meaning error, an unsuitable term, inconsistent wording or a genuine language problem. A correct sentence does not need rewriting simply because another version is possible.

Send the German source, existing Danish if applicable, drawings or product references, terminology and deadline. We agree the review depth and delivery format before work begins.
